Kalos Civil Group is seeking an experienced Civil & Concrete Estimator to join our growing team.We deliver civil construction, earthworks and commercial concrete packages throughout Melbourne.
This is an chance to take ownership of estimating and tendering while working closely with management, clients, builders, subcontractors and suppliers.Key responsibilitiesReview drawings, specifications, geotechnical reports and tender documentsPrepare accurate quantity take-offs and detailed cost estimatesPrice civil, earthworks and commercial concrete packagesDevelop labour, plant, material and subcontractor costingsObtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotationsPrepare tender submissions, scopes, exclusions and clarificationsIdentify project risks, opportunities and potential variationsAttend site inspections and tender meetings when requiredMaintain estimating rates, templates and supplier informationAssist with project handovers after successful tendersSupport progress claims, variations and commercial reviewsTypical scopes includeBulk and detailed earthworksSite cuts, soil disposal and material importLevel 1 controlled fillExcavation and backfillingStormwater and underground servicesRoads, car parks and hardstandsRetaining walls and drainageCommercial slabs, footings and foundationsCapping beams and shotcrete wallsKerbs, pavements and concrete structuresDemolition and remediation worksAbout youPrevious estimating experience within civil construction,
