Annual salary of
$78,500 - $80,000 plus superannuation
About the Role
As Venue Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in leading daily operations and setting the standard for service excellence.
Supporting the Venue Manager, you will be a hands-on leader who motivates the team, drives performance, and creates memorable guest experiences.
You will lead from the front, ensuring seamless service across café, restaurant, and event operations while maintaining high standards of hospitality, food safety, and team engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and inspire front-of-house team members to deliver exceptional customer service
Foster a positive team culture focused on accountability, development, and guest satisfaction
Train and mentor staff in service standards, coffee preparation, beverage knowledge, and operational excellence




Create effective rosters that balance business requirements with team wellbeing
Support the Venue Manager in achieving labour, sales, and customer satisfaction targets
Oversee daily venue operations, ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures
Manage guest feedback and resolve service issues professionally and confidently
Work collaboratively with kitchen, events, and management teams to deliver seamless service
Ensure consistently high standards in coffee preparation, beverage service, presentation, and customer experience
About You
You are an experienced hospitality professional who leads by example and has a genuine passion for developing people and delivering outstanding service.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous leadership experience in a busy hospitality, café, restaurant, or premium food and beverage environment
Strong coffee skills, including espresso preparation, milk texturing, and quality control
Sound beverage knowledge, including non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverage service
A proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
Solid communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first mindset
Experience with rostering, labour management, and operational KPIs
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
A genuine passion for hospitality, service excellence, and continuous improvement
Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and occasional evening functions as required
