The Senior
Product Analyst provides advanced analytical and strategic insight to inform
engagement, experience design, and product decision-making across the
Group's
retail businesses
— including supermarkets, liquor, and group platforms.
This
role leads the discovery and analysis of customer behaviour, product
performance, and business processes to identify opportunities for improvement
and innovation.
The Senior Product Analyst partners closely with Product
Managers, Designers, Engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure that
product strategies and design decisions are data-driven, evidence-based, and
aligned with enterprise goals.
The role also contributes to building analytical
capability within the product organisation — developing frameworks, tools, and
best practices for measuring customer engagement, usability, and value
delivery.
Through thought leadership, mentoring, and collaboration, the Senior
Product Analyst helps drive a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and
continuous improvement, ensuring that every product initiative delivers
measurable impact and enhances the
Group's retail
experience.

Required
Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a
relevant field (or equivalent experience) Or 7+ years' experience in IT,
technical analysis, or solution delivery
·
Proven experience
working in complex Agile environments
·
Advanced analytical and
problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and research into
actionable insights
·
Strong facilitation,
influencing,



and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and business
audiences
·
High level of data
literacy, including understanding statistical significance and interpreting
complex datasets
·
Ability to coach and
uplift analysis capability, including story slicing, acceptance criteria
quality, and analytical techniques
·
Robust written and
verbal communication skills, including the ability to document requirements and
technical concepts clearly and concisely
·
Effective risk
identification and mitigation skills, particularly related to requirements,
dependencies, and delivery readiness
·
Strong enterprise
awareness, with the ability to align product decisions to organizational
strategy, standards, and constraints
Experience
·
Extensive experience working
in Agile and scaled-Agile delivery environments, leading complex analysis
across multiple teams, systems, and integrations
·
Proven experience
across end-to-end product discovery, including customer research, problem
framing, and hypothesis-driven exploration
·
Experience with data
mapping, data flows, and system integrations (APIs/interfaces)
·
Demonstrated experience
defining, documenting, and validating complex functional and non-functional
requirements in large-scale, risk-sensitive environments
·
Experience shaping
product strategy and roadmaps through evidence-based insights and analytics
·
Strong background
partnering with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and Architects in
cross-functional teams
·
Proven experience
managing dependencies, risks, and ambiguity across complex delivery landscapes
·
Experience analysing
and improving business processes to drive efficiency, automation, and better
customer outcomes
·
Experience working with
enterprise platforms and integrated systems, ideally within large or complex
organisations
