The Role
An opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Senior Associate to join the firm's growing General Liability practice in Brisbane.
You will act for major insurers across a varied portfolio of defendant liability matters, with work encompassing personal injury claims, complex liability and quantum issues, indemnity advice and defence strategy.
This is a hands-on role offering considerable autonomy.
You will have the opportunity to manage your own matters, develop direct relationships with insurer clients and play an active role in settlement conferences,
mediations and court proceedings.
The Ideal Person
You will ideally have:
at least 3 years' PAE in defendant insurance litigation;
experience across general liability and personal injury claims;
the confidence to manage matters autonomously and provide practical, commercially focused advice;
strong communication and client relationship skills; and
at Senior Associate level, an interest in mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
