Based in Brisbane's north, you'll become a key member of a well-structured group finance team, working closely with experienced leaderswhilemanaging and developing a team of two.Unlike a narrowly focused financial accounting position, this role offers plenty of variety and exposure across financial reporting, tax, statutory accounting, audit, systems and team leadership.Your responsibilities will include:Take ownership of key month-end accounting and balance sheet processesPrepare consolidation, AASB 16, accrual and taxation journalsManage key tax compliance including BAS, PAYG,
GST and FBTAssist with statutory accounts and annual income tax requirementsPlay a key role in the annual external auditPrepare Capex reporting and fixed asset schedulesSupport cash forecasting and broader Group Finance activitiesIdentify and implement improvements to systems and processesMentor and develop a Financial Accountant and Finance OfficerYou will be CA/CPA qualified with a robust grounding in financial accounting, Australian Accounting Standards and taxation.
