6 Month FTC with achance for a permanent role or sponsorshipGain broad exposure across trade management, settlements, client reporting and operational projectsIdeal for an investment operations professional with strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detailThe OpportunityAn opportunity has arisen for a Trade Management & Client Reporting Analyst to join an established funds management business.Reporting to the Senior Investment Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of trading activities and client reporting across a range of managed investment schemes and investment mandates.This is a broad investment operations position offering exposure across the full trade lifecycle, portfolio reporting, custodians, investment managers and operational projects.Key responsibilities will include:Manage trade instructions across investment managers and custodians through relevant order management systemsMonitor trade settlement and investigate unmatched or failed tradesIdentify and resolve portfolio, trade and pricing exceptionsLiaise with custodians, brokers and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issuesSupport the onboarding and offboarding of investment products, including broker and custody arrangementsComplete broker AML/KYC requirements and account-opening documentationPrepare and deliver daily,
monthly and ad hoc portfolio and client reportsPrepare quantitative data for ratings reviews and due diligence requestsProvide operational support to Fund Accountants and the wider investment operations teamIdentify opportunities to improve processes, controls and operational efficiencyParticipate in operational projects and system/process enhancementsAbout YouYou will ideally have previous experience within investment or funds management, gained in an Investment Operations, Middle Office, Back Office or Client Services workplace.You will also bring:A relevant tertiary qualification in accounting, business, economics or a related disciplineAn understanding of the investment trading lifecycleStrong analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving capabilitiesAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with large volumes of financial dataExposure to portfolio and order management systems such as Eze Software, Bloomberg, IRESS/IOS or similarStrong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to build effective relationships with investment managers, custodians, brokers and clientsAn understanding of relevant financial services regulatory and compliance requirementsThe ability to prioritise competing deadlines in a fast-paced environmentThis opportunity would suit someone looking to build on their investment operations experience in a varied role with exposure across trade management, client reporting, portfolio operations and continuous improvement.
