You'll design, build and optimise scalable data solutions that enable reporting, analytics and data-driven decision making across the business.
Working within a modern Microsoft ecosystem, you'll help deliver a robust data platform while contributing to architecture, best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.What you'll do:Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines using Microsoft FabricDevelop and optimise Lakehouse and Warehouse solutions following Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) principlesCreate and maintain semantic models that deliver trusted, business-ready data for reporting and self-service analyticsDesign, build and optimise SQL Server databases,



data models and ETL processesDeliver impactful reporting and analytics solutions using Power BISupport the ongoing modernisation of the organisation's data platform and reporting environmentCollaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutionsDrive data quality, governance and performance improvements across the platformWhat we're looking for:Experience working as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused roleStrong SQL development, database design and data modelling skillsHands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Data Factory and Warehouse componentsExperience designing and implementing Medallion Architecture within modern data platformsStrong understanding of semantic modelling and delivering enterprise reporting solutionsExperience with Power BI development, dashboards and data visualisationKnowledge of data warehousing, ETL/ELT patterns and best practicesStrong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skillsPrevious experience working within Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, Accounting, Wealth Management, Investment management, Trading or Capital Markets environments will be highly beneficial
