Full time, 2 year fixed-term located at our Camperdown Campus Exciting chance to analyse data, develop solutions and support operations at the Faculty of Engineering Base Salary $107,312 - $115,686 + 17% superannuationAbout the opportunityThe Faculty of Engineering is currently seeking a Data Insights Analyst to extract and visualise data to derive insightful analytics, employing foundational techniques to help inform university strategies and play a key role in collecting and reporting data for internal and external processes.Your key responsibilities will be to:extract, transform, and visualise data to provide analytical insightsuse foundational data analysis techniques to help shape university strategies and design IT solutionssupport the administration of data collection efforts for informed decision-makingcollect and provide data for internal monitoring and contribute to understanding external implicationsengage in data preparation and cleansing to ensure the reliability of analytical resultssupport effective handover of solutions by documenting their development and training stakeholders to utilise those solutionstake the lead in handling stakeholder communications, ensuring that concerns are addressed effectively and promptly while fostering a culture of trust and collaboration within the work area and beyondAbout youBachelor's Degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of relevant training and experiencedemonstrated experience in delivering technical solutions that focus on digital forms and workflow, automation,



collaboration services and process improvementability to evaluate and apply emerging technologies, including AI, automation, analytics, and other disruptive technologiesstrong capability in data analytics, machine learning, system modelling and intelligent automationdemonstrated experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, and Power Apps, for data analysis workflowsconfident in analysing and providing insights on complex quantitative and qualitative dataproficiency in Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, intelligent agents, LLM services and the Microsoft Power Platform experience engaging with diverse internal and external project stakeholdersWork RightsYou must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to be eligible to apply.
