The role focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting A/C and electrical systems of heavy vehicles, executing repairs, and servicing in line with manufacturer and company standards, while ensuring safety, compliance, and quality maintenance through effective collaboration and resource management.Maintain A/C SystemsTroubleshooting electrical systemsWork to continuously improve the safety values and performanceCarry out repairs and servicing in accordance with manufacturer's specifications and / or company proceduresEnsure tools and equipment are kept in a serviceable and clean condition and items sourced from the Store are returned by the end of shiftEnsure repairs and servicing is carried out in accordance with manufacturer's specificationsExecute allocated work to ensure it is completed safely within the required timeframes and to the required level of qualityWork effectively with the maintenance crews to adhere to the maintenance planEnsure compliance with all Company policies and proceduresEnsure compliance with the relevant legislation and statutory requirementsWorking with Maintenance Supervisors to ensure quality maintenance performance, including asset availability and reliabilityWork with Maintenance Supervisors to ensure effective resource allocation (such as people, equipment, and resources) to meet maintenance work targets and schedulesTo be successful you will have:Current S11Current Australian Drivers LicenceElectrical Trade Qualification (HV Electrician)High Voltage switching ticketRelevant trade qualification and other tickets as appropriateExperience working with diesel electric haul trucks essential preferably KomatsuExperience working with mobile plant equipmentProven excellent diagnostic, fault finding, trouble shooting and preventative maintenance skillsCapable of reading and understanding parts manualsTeam player attitude and capable of working with minimum supervisionCommitment to health, safety, quality and the environmentCurrent Coal Board Medical or willingness and ability to pass pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testingWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
