This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced H&S; professional to work closely with corporate stakeholders, business leaders and site teams, providing guidance and supporting continuous improvement across safety culture, systems, critical risk and overall business performance.
Based in Melbourne, the role will lead a small corporate H&S; team and play an significant part in creating safe, healthy and productive workplaces, with a strong focus on physical and psychological health, wellbeing and positive safety outcomes.

Duties
Lead and support the development of a high-performing corporate H&S; teamPartner with senior management and site leaders to strengthen H&S; performanceOversee critical risk management, contractor assurance and key H&S; improvement initiativesMaintain and improve the H&S; management system in line with Australian legislation and global requirementsSupport ISO ***** compliance and assurance activitiesLead and support incident investigations,



corrective actions and lessons learnedDevelop and coordinate H&S; training, awareness and wellbeing initiativesMonitor and report on H&S; performance across the Australian businessMaintain regular engagement with operational teams through site visitsProvide H&S; input into bids, project management plans and other commercial activities as requiredSupport the development and management of the annual H&S; budget
Skills & Experience
Strong H&S;/HSEQ experience within construction, renewable energy, manufacturing or other operational environmentsRelevant degree or qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Safety, Quality or a related disciplineStrong understanding of Australian H&S; legislation, management systems and compliance requirementsExperience leading a H&S; team and building effective relationships with senior stakeholders and operational teamsStrong ISO ***** experience, with exposure to ISO **** and ISO ***** highly regardedRelevant auditing and incident investigation qualificationsStrong communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skillsExperience supporting organisational change and continuous improvementWillingness to travel regularly to interstate sites and internationally when required
