Harmony Auto is one of Australia's fastest-growing automotive groups, representing leading new energy vehicle brands including BYD and DENZA.As our operations continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced and technically skilled Diagnostic Technician to join our growing Warehouse PDI Team.This is an exciting opportunity to work with the latest electric vehicle technology and advanced diagnostic systems, while playing an key role in ensuring vehicles are fully inspected, diagnosed and prepared to meet our quality standards before delivery.About the RoleAs a Diagnostic Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical and electronic faults identified during the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) process.Working closely with the PDI Team and Warehouse Controller, you will help identify and resolve technical issues efficiently and ensure vehicles are safe, functional and ready for delivery.Key responsibilities include:Carry out vehicle diagnostics and fault finding during the PDI processDiagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic issues using appropriate diagnostic equipmentIdentify and resolve faults efficiently to minimise vehicle delaysPerform inspections and technical checks to ensure vehicles meet required quality standardsSupport PDI Technicians with complex diagnostic and technical issuesProvide technical guidance and assistance to other technicians where requiredWork with the team to maintain high standards of vehicle quality and delivery readinessFollow manufacturer procedures,



technical instructions and company PDI processesMaintain accurate records of diagnostic findings and completed workAssist with continuous improvement of PDI and vehicle preparation processesAbout YouWe are looking for someone who is technically capable, reliable and confident in diagnosing vehicle faults.Previous experience as an Automotive Diagnostic Technician, Automotive Technician or similar roleStrong diagnostic and fault-finding skillsGood knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle systemsExperience using automotive diagnostic tools and equipmentStrong attention to detail and a commitment to qualityAbility to work independently and identify technical issues effectivelyAbility to support and guide other technicians when requiredGood communication and teamwork skillsA proactive approach to problem-solvingAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environmentDesirableExperience working with electric vehicles (EVs) or new energy vehiclesExperience with BYD, DENZA or other new energy vehicle brandsExperience in PDI, vehicle preparation or pre-delivery inspectionRelevant automotive qualificationsRelevant automotive trade qualifications and/or diagnostic certificationsWhy Join Us?
