Instructional Designer & Assessment Co-OrdinatorThe Instructional Designer & Assessment Coordinator is a high-impact role supporting the delivery of inclusive, compliant, and engaging education programs.
The position is responsible for end-to-end learning resource development and the coordination of progressive foundation skills assessment, with a robust focus on the SEE program.
The role ensures that diverse cohorts, including CALD learners, PALM scheme workers, early school leavers and mature-aged participants, receive accessible, contextualised training materials that support real-world outcomes.Key responsibilitiesDevelop and maintain a comprehensive suite of materials including learner workbooks, assessment kits, trainer guides, session plans, mapping matrices, and presentationsContextualise resources for industries and diverse cohorts, incorporating cultural considerations, translation supports and LLND-focussed vocabulary aidsDesign materials suitable for blended training modes, including Face-to-Face, virtual and workplace basedEnsure all accredited materials are mapped to units of competency and the ACSFEnhance learning through scenario-based activities, workplace tasks and practical applicationUse emerging technologies and AI tools to develop engaging digital content, including video, audio, QR-enabled resources and gamificationApply adult learning principles to build learner confidence and support inclusionCollaborate with trainers, subject matter experts, employers, and industry to ensure relevance and accuracyCoordinate the progressive assessment of learners' core foundation skills with regional teams,



trainers and administratorsOversee and support the application of formative and summative assessment tools for the SEE programAbout youTAE***** Diploma of VET (or higher adult LLND qualification) with a design and development focusDemonstrated experience developing accredited RTO and foundation skills (LLND) resourcesStrong working knowledge of the Australian Core Skills Framework and its use in assessmentProficiency in MS365 (Word, Excel, Teams) and confident using technology and AI to enhance learning contentDemonstrated ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and coordinate across regional teamsExceptional writing skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into plain English for low-literacy learnersCurrent Working with Children Check and clear National Police CheckExceptional written and verbal skills, with a specific talent for plain English writing and simplifying complex technical concepts for low-LLN cohortsStrong understanding of accessibility and cultural contextualisation for learnersProven ability to juggle multiple design projects and assessment deadlines simultaneously without sacrificing qualityAbout usQualify is a purpose-driven organisation delivering education, employment, and support services that create meaningful community and economic outcomes.
