We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing accounting practice in Townsville.This is a hands-on role suited to an accountant who is confident managing a portfolio of clients and completing a broad range of taxation, compliance and SMSF work from start to finish.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation and lodgement of Individual Tax ReturnsCompany, Trust and Partnership tax returnsPreparation of financial statements and year-end accountsSMSF financial statements and tax returnsBAS and IAS preparation and lodgementGST and PAYG complianceTax planning and year-end tax mattersPreparation of workpapers and reconciliationsLiaising with the ATO and ASIC where requiredReviewing client records and identifying outstanding informationAssisting clients with general taxation and accounting queriesManaging jobs through to completion and ensuring lodgement deadlines are metAbout YouHas solid Australian public practice accounting experienceHas solid knowledge of Australian taxation and compliance requirementsIs experienced across individuals, companies, trusts,
