Task & responsibilitiesCoordinating daily restaurant management operationsStaff management and supervision, section allocation, closing proceduresCoordinate seamless events/functionsDelivering superior food and beverage service and maximizing customer satisfactionLiaise with senior chefs with respect to menu planning and daily specialsResponding efficient and accurately to restaurant customer complaintsCoordinate daily front and back of house operationsRegularly review product quality and research recent vendorsOrganise and supervise shiftsAppraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivityControl operational costs and identify measures to cut wasteTrain new and current employees on proper customer service practicesImplement policies that will maintain and improve restaurant standardsEnsure dining facilities comply with health and liquor licensing regulationsEnsure a safe working environmentQualification & experience Minimum 2 years work experience in a similar fine-dining restaurant Aptitude for provision of exceptional dining services to patrons Extensive food and beverage knowledge, with the ability to remember and recall specific ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff A sound knowledge of Italian cuisine Proficiency with restaurant management software, such as OpenTable and POS systems such as Bepoz Solid wine knowledge Strong leadership, motivational and people skills Financial analysis and management skills The ability to work hands-on where required within a fast-paced environment.Minimum 2 years work experience in a similar fine-dining restaurantAptitude for provision of exceptional dining services to patronsExtensive food and beverage knowledge, with the ability to remember and recall specific ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staffA sound knowledge of Italian cuisineProficiency with restaurant management software, such as OpenTable and POS systems such as BepozStrong wine knowledgeStrong leadership, motivational and people skillsFinancial analysis and management skillsThe ability to work hands-on where required within a fast-paced environment.About CompanyLocale Noosa is a hatted Italian restaurant on Noosa's iconic Hasting Street.
