Over this time, our industry capabilities have evolved to include works within transport, building, services infrastructure, urban, as well as the industrial and energy sectors.About the RoleMcIlwain is seeking an experienced Safety Advisor who is ready to contribute to a purpose-driven team at one of our projects on the Sunshine Coast.
You will work closely with a small onsite Safety Team, ensuring compliance with WH&S; regulations as well as influence & drive a positive safety culture for the project.Due to the location of the project, McIlwain offers housing for those that would prefer to stay locally during the week as the works are run from Monday to Friday.DutiesMonitor compliance with the safety systems and procedures within the workplace and provide operational support to the project management teamFacilitate and deliver site inductionsAttend all site pre-starts and communicate weekly toolbox to workforce and any incident findings or corrective actionsReporting, investigating, and implementing corrective and/or preventive actions resulting from identification of hazards, near miss incidents and work-related illness/injuryProvide ongoing health and safety advice to Supervisors, Contractors, and site workers to eliminate or minimize hazards.Review and approve all SWMS,
