Job Description
About the Role
We're looking for dedicated and motivated Full Time Forklift Operators to join our logistics team on Dayshift or Afternoon Shift working from our Penfield Depot.
Day Shift 6.00am to 2:30pm




Afternoon Shift 2.30pm to *****pm
Overtime is available on weekends and public holidays.
Job Description
Reporting to the Terminal Manager, the positionincludes the following responsibilities:
Loading and unloading trucks, trailers, containers and rail wagons
Sorting, labelling and checking freight against customer delivery paperwork
Restraining loads as per the National Load Restraint Guide
Handling both general and non-standard freight
Counterbalance and Twin Tyne forklift operation
Palletise and pack loads as required
Lifting and dunnage duties
Perform stocktaking and checking of freight
Desired Skills and Experience
Essential Licensing, Experience and Requirements:
The successful candidate must:
Hold a current LF High Risk Work licence
Have experience operating a Forklift in a transport environment coupled with moving freight in a secure and efficient manner following load restraint and COR procedures
Sound understanding of Chain of Responsibility
Be reliable and punctual and have a strong work ethic
Be flexibility with start and finish times
Have a strong safety focus
Possess a passion for providing a high-level of service with a positive attitude and work collaboratively within a team.
