Job Description
As a Pump Service Fitter, you'll support our NSW operations by performing equipment assessments, repairs, and servicing both in-house and at customer sites.
You'll play a key part in upholding service excellence, safety standards, and customer satisfaction across our fluid motion solutions portfolio.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carry out pump assessments, internal/external repairs, and warranty evaluations
Ensure quality of completed jobs prior to dispatch
Operate and maintain service equipment, tools, forklifts, and cranes safely
Work closely with team members to ensure efficient operations
Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment
Follow all NOV safety procedures and company policies
Provide accurate job reporting and timely communication
Demonstrate professionalism, technical integrity, and a customer-first attitude
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications & Licences
Trade-qualified Mechanical or Electrical Fitter
Valid Driver's Licence
Forklift Licence
Confined Space Entry (preferred)
Disconnect/Reconnect Restricted Electrical (preferred)
Experience & Skills
Proven experience in pump and rotating equipment repairs (including Progressive Cavity Pumps)
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure with positive time management
Capable of using service software and internal IT systems
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel when required
Success Indicators
ISO and OHS compliance
Timely and high-quality work
Low rate of job reworks or customer complaints
