HC Crane Truck Driver - Frames & Trusses
As a HC Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivering roof trusses, wall frames, and building components to construction sites.
This is a hands‐on role operating a crane-equipped truck, requiring safe transport and unloading of building products while providing excellent customer service on site.
Key responsibilities
Delivering roof trusses, wall frames, and building components to construction sites
Operating the truck‐mounted crane to safely unload products
Securing loads in accordance with transport regulations
Conducting pre‐start and daily vehicle inspections
Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records
Communicating effectively with builders, site supervisors, and dispatch staff
Maintaining a strong commitment to workplace health and safety




About you
Experience operating heavy vehicles
Ability to safely operate a truck‐mounted crane (or willingness to be trained)
Excellent understanding of load restraint requirements
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules
White Card (preferred)
Forklift licence and/or CV (Vehicle Loading Crane) ticket highly regarded
