Key Responsibilities Laybricks,concreteblocksandstoneusingmortartoconstructandrepairstructures Readandinterpretconstructiondrawings,plansandspecifications Measure,markandalignmaterialstoensureaccurateinstallation Usehandtoolsandpowertoolssafelyandefficiently Checkcompletedworkusinglevels,plumblinesandmeasuringequipment Constructbrickworktorequiredbuildingstandardsandprojectspecifications Finish,cleanandpointjointstoachievedurableandhigh-qualityfinishes Prepareworkareasandassistwithmaterialhandlingasrequired Maintaintoolsandequipmentingoodworkingcondition Followworkplacehealthandsafetyproceduresatalltimes Keepworksitesclean,organisedandcompliantwithsafetyrequirements Workcollaborativelywithsupervisorsandothertradestoachieveprojectdeadlines Deliverqualityworkmanshipwhilemaintainingproductivityandattentiontodetail Requirements & Eligibility ProvenexperienceasaBricklayeronresidential,commercialorindustrialconstructionprojects Relevanttradequalificationorcompletedbricklayingapprenticeship Strongknowledgeofbricklayingmethods,mortarpreparationandbondingtechniques Abilitytoreadandinterpretconstructiondrawingsandtechnicalspecifications Experienceusingbricklayinghandtoolsandpowertoolssafely UnderstandingofAustralianbuildingstandardsandworkplacehealthandsafetypractices Currentdriver'slicence Physicallyfitandcapableofperformingmanualworkinvaryingweatherconditions Strongattentiontodetailandcommitmenttoproducinghigh-qualityworkmanship Goodcommunicationskillsandabilitytoworkeffectivelywithinateam Experienceindecorativebrickwork,customconstructionorheritagerestorationisadvantageous CurrentWhiteCardandFirstAidcertificationareadvantageous Special Instructions Sponsorshipavailableforsuitablecandidates.
