This role offers exposure to a complex project setting, working alongside a highly regarded head contractor and experienced project team.
It is ideally suited to an ambitious Project Engineer looking to progress their career or a Senior Project Engineer seeking their next challenge on a major project.The RoleAs a Senior Project Engineer, you will support the successful delivery of the mechanical services package from planning and procurement through to commissioning and handover.Working closely with project management, site teams, consultants and subcontractors, you will play an important role in ensuring project objectives are achieved across programme, quality, safety and commercial outcomes.Key responsibilities include:Supporting the planning and delivery of the mechanical services packageCoordinating mechanical works with the head contractor,



consultants and subcontractorsReviewing drawings, specifications and technical documentationManaging RFIs, variations, procurement activities and project documentationAssisting with subcontractor coordination and performance managementMonitoring project programme, milestones, quality outcomes and costsEnsuring works are delivered in accordance with project specifications and relevant industry standardsSupporting testing, commissioning, handover and project close-out activitiesMaintaining strong communication with key project stakeholdersContributing to project planning, problem-solving and continuous improvement initiativesThe Like MindYou will be a motivated and technically capable Project Engineer with a background in mechanical engineering or building services and experience delivering projects within complex construction environments.You will enjoy working collaboratively, possess strong organisational skills and have the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.Ideally, you will bring:Previous experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project EngineerA Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Building Services backgroundExperience delivering major construction, defence, infrastructure or similarly complex projectsA relevant tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related disciplineStrong technical, coordination and project administration skillsExperience working within a Tier 1 project environment will be highly regardedExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesA proactive approach and commitment to achieving successful project outcomesThis opportunity will suit an engineer looking to further develop their career within a respected contractor.All conversations and applications are handled in strict confidence.
