The village consists of 327 apartments, spread over five buildings that is about half a kilometre long from end-to-end.
Greenway Views is home to nearly 400 residents over the age of 65.
The village has over 6,000 square metres of communal space facilitating social connectedness and a vibrant village community.

On-site facilities include a gym, art centre, chapel, dance room, theatre, library, several hospitality outlets, village shed, barber shop, hairdresser, medical consultation room, grocer, purpose designed meeting spaces and a dog park.About the roleReporting to the Village Finance Manager,



the Village Assistant Accountant supports the day-to-day financial operations of the village.The successful candidate will work Monday - Friday ****am - ****pmResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Assist with the preparation of monthly village management reports, including P&L;, Balance Sheet and cash flow statement.Assist with preparation of month end reconciliations.Assist with BAS/GST Compliance requirements.Support preparation and distribution of resident billing for care, hospitality and general services charges; including management of accounts receivable process.Assist residents with billing enquiries in a timely and professional manner with the Village Finance Manager supporting more complex queries.Assist with Account Payable Function.Invoice review, coding and provision to Group Finance for processing.Managing external supplier queries within the assigned staff.Conduct staff site inductions and maintain induction records.Qualifications, Experience and SkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting,



Finance or relevant field.Must possess strong oral and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and analytical skillsAccounting within the retirement village sector experience is preferable but not essentialAdvanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software (Demonstrated experience with Xero is preferable.Proven work experience as a Financial Accountant or similar roleOur Employee Value PropositionLDK villages have established a reputation of being 'truly happy places' for residents.
