We're looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join our Finance team and partner with the operation to drive commercial performance.Reporting to the CFO this brand new hands-on role will focus on turning financial data into meaningful insights and help leaders understand what's happening, why it's happening and what we can do about it.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPartner with the CFO to drive performance, enable strategic decision making, and support the implementation of robust processes and practicesAnalyse budgets, forecasts, revenue, costs and variancesSupport budgeting, forecasting and business planningDevelop accurate data reporting and dashboards to monitor and manage KPIs (both financial and non-financial)Perform variance analysis against budget/forecastPreparation of consolidated monthly financial and management reportsConduct margin analysis, cost reviews, and profitability reportingManage inventory accounting and reportingIdentify trends,



risks and opportunities to improve profitabilityABOUT YOUWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORWe're looking for someone who combines strong technical accounting capability with genuine commercial curiosity.You will ideally have:Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related disciplineCPA/CA qualification or working towards qualification highly regardedPrevious Management Accounting experienceExperience in hospitality, clubs, gaming, hotels, restaurants or retail highly regardedStrong understanding of P&L;, balance sheet and cash flow principlesStrong budgeting and forecasting capabilityAdvanced Excel skillsExperience with financial reporting and analysisStrong attention to detail and data accuracyAbility to identify trends, anomalies and commercial opportunitiesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsThis is an opportunity to join a large and growing hospitality organisation where Finance is becoming an increasingly important commercial partner to the business.You'll have exposure to multiple revenue streams, work alongside experienced operational leaders and have the prospect to make a genuine difference to business performance.If you're ready to move beyond traditional accounting and become a true commercial partner to the operation, we want to hear from you.
