This is a permanent, full-time opportunity to play a hands-on role in the firm's AML/CTF program and client intake processes.This is a genuine opportunity to build deep expertise in AML/CTF and broader compliance within a collaborative, professional workplace that invests in its people.ResponsibilitiesHelp bed down the firm's AML/CTF framework, including the policies, procedures and systems that sit behind itKeep the business on top of its AML/CTF obligations and be the go-to for everyday compliance questionsCarry out client due diligence on engagements involving designated services, working within a decentralised modelStay across client risk ratings, trigger events, screening alerts and upcoming CDD renewalsRun the quarterly internal audit of the AML/CTF program end to endKeep clean,
well-evidenced records that demonstrate the program is working as it shouldHelp maintain information barriers and the risk controls that support themGuide advisory teams through complex new client and new matter intakeField and resolve compliance queries tied to taking on new businessPitch in on wider compliance matters, such as external appointments and financial interest disclosuresSkills & ExperienceExperience in a similar role within a professional services organisation, financial institution or regulated environment is desirableComprehensive knowledge of the AML/CTF Act and Rules, particularly as they relate to customer due diligenceWorking knowledge of professional conduct requirements and risk management principlesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with partners and senior stakeholdersA proactive, solutions-focused approach and strong attention to detailThe ability to interpret policy and apply it to real-world scenarios
