This role will see you acting for some of Australia's largest insurers focusing on defendant motor vehicle insurance claims, recoveries, and settlement litigation involving property damage.Your responsibilities will include the following:Manage a large caseload of motor vehicle property damage claimsAdvise insurers and corporate clients on liability, quantum, and recovery prospectsConduct litigation in Court,
including drafting pleadings and appearing at hearingsNegotiate settlements and manage alternative dispute resolution processesMentor junior lawyers and contribute to team developmentMaintain strong client relationships and deliver high-quality legal servicesWho We Are Looking ForThe ideal candidate will have the following:Between 1-5 years' PQE in defendant insurance litigation, ideally in motor vehicle property damage claims and recoveriesAstrategic mindset to complex disputes, confidently navigating court procedures and alternative dispute resolutionConsistently deliver results that align with client objectivesExperience working in a fast-paced environment and managing conflicting prioritiesAbility to work autonomously and in a team environmentExcellent communication skills with a strong client service focus=Excellent attention to detailThis is a great opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career in a quality environment.What We OfferWe take a collaborative approach to your learning & development, giving you the personal attention and unique opportunities required to help you realise your full potential.
