An established and highly regarded civil contractor is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to lead its front-end project and tendering function.This is a key leadership position responsible for identifying opportunities, managing the tender pipeline and ensuring projects are properly assessed, priced and planned before transitioning into delivery.The RoleLead the preconstruction and tendering functionManage opportunities from initial review through to contract awardOversee bid strategy, estimating, programming and tender submissionsCoordinate estimators, engineers, commercial teams and external partnersLead tender reviews, risk assessments and bid/no-bid decisionsReview construction methodologies, project risks and commercial requirementsBuild strong relationships with clients, consultants and industry partnersIdentify value-engineering and alternative delivery opportunitiesEnsure a structured handover from preconstruction into project deliverySupport the continued growth and development of the businessAbout YouProven experience in a Preconstruction Manager, Bid Manager or senior estimating positionExperience across bulk earthworks, remediation, demolition, roadworks,
