Eastcoast Furniture Transport is seeking an experienced Heavy Combination (HC) or Multi Combination (MC) licensed driver to join our team of interstate freight specialists.
As an HC/MC Interstate Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of furniture and homewares across state lines, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
This full-time role is based in Cranbourne, Victoria.What you'll be doingSafely operate HC or MC vehicles on long-haul interstate journeys, adhering to all relevant road transport regulationsLoad, unload and secure freight in a timely and careful mannerMaintain detailed delivery records and provide excellent customer service to clientsConduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthinessLiaise with the dispatch team to optimise delivery schedules and routesWork collaboratively with the wider logistics team to contribute to the overall success of the businessWhat we're looking forCurrent HC or MC driver's licence with an exemplary driving recordMinimum 2 years' experience driving heavy vehicles interstateSound knowledge of road transport regulations and safety proceduresExcellent customer service skills and the ability to problem solve effectivelyStrong organisational and time management abilitiesWillingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as requiredWhat we offerAt Eastcoast Furniture Transport, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
