Manufacturing ManagerPeel Region, WA | PermanentGlobe 24-7 is partnering with an established mining manufacturing business to appoint an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead a key WA manufacturing operation.This is a hands‐on leadership role for someone who understands heavy manufacturing and fabrication and knows how to get the best out of both people and production.You'll take ownership of the day‐to‐day manufacturing function, working closely with workshop leadership and trades to ensure work is planned effectively, production targets are met and quality remains high.There's also a strong focus on continuous improvement, with the opportunity to influence how the operation runs, improve workflow and drive greater efficiency across the manufacturing process.The roleYou'll be responsible for:Leading the manufacturing and workshop operationManaging production planning, scheduling and deliveryProviding leadership across supervisors, leading hands and tradesDriving productivity, efficiency and continuous improvementEnsuring quality, safety and production standards are maintainedIdentifying bottlenecks and improving workflowBuilding a positive,



accountable and high‐performing team cultureWorking closely with other areas of the business to meet operational and customer requirementsAbout youWe're looking for an experienced manufacturing leader from a heavy fabrication, engineering, mining equipment or similar industrial setting.You'll ideally bring:Experience as a Manufacturing Manager, Operations Manager, Fabrication Manager, Workshop Manager or similarStrong knowledge of heavy fabrication and welding environmentsA trade background in boilermaking, welding or fabrication will be highly regardedProven experience leading supervisors and trade‐based teamsStrong production planning and problem‐solving capabilityExperience improving manufacturing processes, productivity and workflowA practical, hands‐on leadership styleThis is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the operation and wants the scope to genuinely influence manufacturing performance, people and process.The role is locally based in the Peel region and may particularly appeal to candidates looking to continue their career within mining and heavy industry without the FIFO lifestyle.
