The role requires the ability to interpret technical drawings, operate welding equipment, and ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:Perform welding, fabrication, and assembly of metal components by interpreting technical drawings and selecting appropriate welding methods and materialsSet up, operate, and maintain welding equipment, while preparing materials through cutting, grinding, and cleaning to ensure high-quality weldsInspect completed welds, identify defects, and carry out repairs or rework to meet required standards and tolerancesAssist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of metal structures and equipment across workshop and on-site environmentsMeasure, mark,



and align materials to ensure accurate fabrication and assemblyOperate hand and power tools such as grinders, cutters, and drilling equipment as requiredFollow all workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures, maintain a clean work area, and report progress or issues to supervisorsRequirements:Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Welding) or a related qualification, or at least 2–3 years of relevant work experienceProven experience in welding and metal fabrication using MIG, TIG, or Arc welding techniquesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specificationsStrong knowledge of welding methods, materials, and safety proceduresGood attention to detail with a high standard of workmanshipAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong commitment to workplace health and safety (WHS) practicesBenefits:Competitive salary packageStable full-time employmentSupportive team workplace
