inductions and on-site safety trainingIdentifying hazards and working collaboratively with site teams to implement practical controlsMonitoring contractor and subcontractor complianceSupporting incident investigations, reporting and corrective actionsProviding advice and guidance on WHS legislation, regulations and construction safety requirementsMaintaining accurate safety documentation and reportingSupporting safety management across groundworks, structures, formwork and general construction activitiesDriving continuous improvement across safety systems and site practicesBuilding strong relationships with project teams, subcontractors, clients and other key stakeholdersAbout You:You will be an experienced construction safety professional with a practical, collaborative approach and the confidence to engage effectively with people at all levels of a project.You will ideally bring:Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety or relevant tertiary qualificationDemonstrated experience in a Safety Advisor or similar WHS role within constructionStrong knowledge of Queensland WHS legislation and construction safety requirementsExperience implementing safety systems, conducting audits and delivering on-site trainingSound understanding of construction methodology including groundworks, structures and formworkStrong communication and relationship-building skillsExcellent attention to detail and documentation skillsCompetency across Microsoft Office and relevant safety systemsA proactive, professional and solutions-focused approach to safetyNote: All applications will be treated with the strictest confidentiality.
