Select Labour Solutions is hiring an Account Manager on behalf of our valued partner in business — a very well established and highly regarded PALM scheme provider with strong experience in backpacker recruitment.About the roleWe are looking for a commercially minded Account Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of highly valued existing clients while driving business growth.
This is not a pure hunter role.
You will deepen relationships, protect and grow revenue from current accounts, and actively identify new opportunities within and around those clients.
You will work across both the PALM scheme and backpacker recruitment streams, helping clients meet their workforce needs while contributing to the wider sales and delivery teams.Key responsibilitiesManage and grow a portfolio of key client accountsBuild robust, long-term relationships with existing clientsDrive retention,



upsells and cross-sellsIdentify and close growth opportunities within current accountsGenerate new business through your network and existing relationshipsWork closely with internal sales and delivery teams to ensure excellent service deliveryMeet clear performance targets around retention, growth and new revenueAbout youProven experience in account management, business development or recruitment (ideally within labour hire, agriculture, horticulture or a related industry)Strong relationship management and commercial skillsAbility to balance client care with growth targetsConfident communicator who can work independently and collaborativelyUnderstanding of (or ability to quickly learn) the PALM scheme and backpacker marketBased in Victoria with full working rightsWillingness to travel within Victoria as requiredCompetitive base salary + commission/bonus structureCompany vehicle and tools of the tradeHybrid working arrangement (Victoria-based)Real ownership of a valued client portfolioClear targets and the support of a team that backs you to winOpportunity to work with a specialist labour solutions provider in a growing market
