The team advises insurers, government entities, multinational corporations and listed organisations on some of Australia's most complex cyber incidents, data breaches, regulatory investigations and coverage disputes.Sydney or MelbourneSenior Associate (5+)Lawyer (1–4 PQE)The OpportunityThis is a unique opportunity to join a specialist practice at the forefront of one of the fastest-growing areas of law.
The team is involved in high-profile cyber incidents from the moment a breach occurs, working closely with insurers, forensic experts, crisis management consultants, IT security specialists and clients to navigate legal, regulatory and commercial risk.You will gain exposure to:Cyber incident response and data breach managementPrivacy and information security adviceRegulatory investigations involving APRA, ASIC and the OAICCoverage disputes across cyber, professional indemnity, D&O; and financial lines policiesComplex insurance litigation and commercial disputesClass action defence arising from cyber and privacy incidentsPolicy interpretation and indemnity adviceEmerging technology,
