Qualified or Apprentice Mechanic/Grounds person
Qualified applicants and apprentices welcome | Bexley Golf Club
Bexley Golf Club is looking for a hands‐on person to help maintain our course equipment and support the presentation of the golf course.
This role offers a mix of workshop and outdoor work.
You'll service, repair and maintain machinery such as mowers, utility vehicles and other course equipment, while also assisting the grounds team with day‐to‐day course maintenance.
We welcome applications from qualified mechanics and people looking to complete an apprenticeship and or start one.
You'll join a friendly team with a excellent work‐life balance.
Working hours generally fall between5:00 am and 1:30 pm, overtime or afternoon shift/weekends may be required.
What we're looking for:
An interest in mechanical work,



machinery and working outdoors
A practical approach to diagnosing problems and getting equipment back in action
Reliability, initiative and a willingness to work as part of a team
Care for safety and the presentation of the course
Relevant mechanical qualifications or experience, if applying as a qualified mechanic
Experience with turf equipment or golf course maintenance would be an advantage, but it isn't essential.
We're happy to support the right apprentice as they learn.
