surface finish and tool condition during machiningMake tooling, machine and offset adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracyTroubleshoot machining, tooling and setup issuesProduce components to engineering drawings and specified tolerancesWhat We're Looking ForExperience as a CNC Machinist / Setter / OperatorStrong CNC machine setting skillsAbility to independently set up and prove machining jobsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerancesGood knowledge of cutting tools, speeds, feeds and workholdingExperience using precision measuring and inspection equipmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityGood machining and problem-solving skillsReliable and able to work effectively with minimal supervisionA relevant trade qualification is preferred.Experience with 3-axis and 4-axis CNC machining is required.
Experience with 5-axis CNC machining is not essential but will be highly regarded.Experience with Siemens SINUMERIK controls would be an advantage - not essentialWhat We OfferThis is a full-time, permanent day-shift position offering stable, long-term employment in an established Australian manufacturing setting.
