MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER (Junior to Experienced)This is a excellent opportunity for a Junior Mechanical Engineer, recent graduate, or experienced Mechanical Design Engineer looking to develop their career in a practical, hands-on engineering and manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will be involved in mechanical design, 3D modelling, CAD drafting, engineering drawings, product development, manufacturing support, and maintenance of production equipment.Key responsibilitiesDesign and develop mechanical components, products, systems, and equipmentCreate accurate 3D models, CAD designs, and detailed engineering drawingsPrepare, update, and maintain engineering drawings and technical documentationAssist with design development, engineering calculations, and problem-solvingWork closely with manufacturing and production teams to ensure designs are practical and suitable for manufacturePerform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machines and equipmentDiagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs and adjustments as requiredAssist with installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of machinery and equipmentIdentify opportunities to improve machine reliability, safety, quality,
