Transmission Linesman Trainer & AssessorYou will deliver and assess transmission-related training, including programs associated with Certificate II and Certificate III transmission qualifications, individual UET units and project-specific competency requirements.
A significant part of the role will involve ensuring training and assessment is delivered to a high standard and supported by appropriate evidence.
You will take responsibility for the full training and assessment process—not simply delivering course content.Key responsibilitiesDelivering and assessing nationally recognised transmission trainingWorking across relevant UET transmission units and qualificationsConducting practical training and workplace assessmentsReviewing logbooks and workplace evidenceConducting gap assessments and competency-based trainingMaintaining complete and defensible assessment evidenceEnsuring assessment decisions meet RTO and regulatory requirementsWorking with Ironbark's compliance team on training and assessment resourcesSupporting continuous improvement and validationWorking with clients and supervisors on major transmission projectsAbout youExtensive experience in transmission line construction and/or maintenanceStrong knowledge across transmission-related UET units of competenceCurrent training and assessment credentials that meet RTO requirementsDemonstrated experience as a Trainer and AssessorStrong understanding of RTO compliance and assessment evidence requirementsExperience assessing competency in workplace and project environmentsExcellent understanding of protected work practices within the electricity supply industryStrong written documentation and record-keeping skillsAbility to communicate confidently with workers, supervisors, project management and RTO compliance staffAbout usIronbark Training is a Wagga Wagga-based Registered Training Organisation specialising in training and assessment for the energy, transmission and infrastructure sectors.
