Our Lady of Lourdes Primary is an integral part of the faith community of Prahran East. Our Lady of Lourdes Primary is governed under the authority of Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Limited (MACS) ABN ***********. MACS is the employer of employees at Our Lady of Lourdes Primary.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the full-time ongoing position of Classroom Teacher to commence in January ****.

The successful applicant will:
Demonstrate commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.
Create a nurturing and ordered learning setting which is learner centred, supportive, cooperative and aligned with relevant curriculum policies, documents and practices
Well versed in contemporary teaching pedagogies and proficient in the analysis and use of data to inform their teaching.
Possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience and will embrace a collegial, team-based approach to teaching and learning.
Be up to date with the MACS **** strategy and MACS Vision for Engagement
Appropriately qualified, demonstrate enthusiasm and ability to deliver the appropriate curriculum to a range of educational abilities and be able to provide care and support for students whilst supporting and respecting the ethos of the school and its environment.
Demonstrate sound knowledge in the Victorian Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
Differentiate learning for students according to their educational needs and abilities and are responsible for the creation of effective assessment practices and quality teaching programs
Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
Demonstrate the ability to use data to inform teaching and learning
Contribute to and enact the School's Improvement Plan.
Demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of Religious Education.
Confident in the use of ICT.
Demonstrate initiative and a commitment to ongoing Professional Learning.
Possess a love of learning.
Special Requirements:
The successful applicant will hold the Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration.
Accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school (willing to study for accreditation)
Committed to the use and analysis of data to inform teaching
Able to demonstrate a sound understanding of contemporary learning pedagogies and explicit teaching strategies
Able to show a thorough understanding of differentiated and personalised learning
