Join Cummins' Asia Pacific Finance team and play a key role in supporting inventory accounting, reporting and analysis across the region.Working closely with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain and Pricing teams, you'll provide insights that help drive better business decisions while gaining exposure to a global organisation.This is also an exciting time to join Cummins, with Finance undergoing a major transformation as we transition to a global SAP platform.
Alongside your core accounting responsibilities, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to process improvements, reporting enhancements and the SAP transformation program.This is a 12-month Fixed Term contract – ideally starting in November.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:Manage inventory accounting, including reconciliations, journals, schedules and financial reportingSupport month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activitiesAnalyse inventory costs, variances and trends, identifying risks and opportunitiesPartner with Operations, Supply Chain and Pricing to provide financial insights and support business performanceEnsure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls and financial requirementsSupport audits and respond to inventory-related enquiriesIdentify and implement improvements to processes, controls and reportingContribute to the transition to SAP and broader Finance transformation initiativesTo be successful in this role you will need the following:Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, with CPA, CA or equivalentExperience in financial accounting, reporting and analysis, ideally in inventory,
