Working Construction Supervisor / Licensed BuilderYou will share your time between hands-on carpentry, site leadership and the day-to-day coordination of residential renovation projects.
The balance will change with project requirements, so you must be comfortable stepping onto the tools without losing control of programme, quality, trades or communication.Key responsibilitiesCarry out and lead hands-on carpentry and renovation workSet out work and resolve practical site issuesSupervise and coordinate employees, subcontractors and suppliersPlan upcoming work, labour, materials and trade sequencingComplete quality-control inspections and rectify issues earlyMaintain site safety, presentation and client protectionCommunicate clearly with clients and the Managing DirectorMaintain site records, photographs, programme updates and variation informationGuide and develop younger carpenters through transparent instruction and practical mentoringManage defects and support projects through to handoverAbout youA QBCC Builder License is highly desirableCandidates with substantial residential supervision experience who are actively working towards a QBCC Builder License may be consideredStrong hands-on carpentry and residential renovation experienceRecent willingness and ability to work productively on the toolsSound knowledge of renovation set-out,
