Team Manager Infrastructure Security & Operations (ISO)We are currently seeking an experienced Team Manager Infrastructure, Security & Operations to join a large and diverse local government organisation and provide strategic and operational leadership across a broad technology environment.Reporting directly to the Chief Digital and Information Officer, this is a senior technology leadership position responsible for multiple teams spanning technical operations, technical delivery and maintenance, cyber security, service desk and IT asset management.The role will play a key part in shaping the organisation's technology capability, driving continuous improvement and ensuring the delivery of reliable, secure and customer-focused IT services across a hybrid cloud and on-premises environment.3-year Fixed Term ContractRelocation package for interstate candidates will be providedTownsville locationThe OpportunityYou will lead a team of approximately six FTE across multiple technology functions, providing thought leadership, technical direction and people leadership while balancing strategic initiatives with critical business-as-usual operations.
Working closely with the Leadership Team and stakeholders across the organisation, you will help shape technology strategy, improve service maturity and deliver initiatives aligned to the organisation's broader strategic objectives.
The role has a strong focus on IT infrastructure, service operations, service transition, architecture, cyber security and technology delivery, requiring a leader who can operate comfortably at both a strategic and operational level.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop teams across Technical Operations, Technical Delivery & Maintenance, Cyber Security, Service Desk and IT Asset ManagementProvide strategic technology leadership and technical expertise across infrastructure,



architecture and service operationsLead the ongoing improvement and maturity of technology infrastructure and operational practicesProvide leadership across ITIL Service Design, Service Transition and components of Service OperationsOversee the delivery and maintenance of the organisation's technology infrastructure and architectureLead complex technology projects from planning and design through to implementation, commissioning and reportingProvide technical input and thought leadership to senior stakeholders and the broader Leadership TeamDevelop and manage budgets and resources to ensure technology services deliver value and align with organisational prioritiesBuild a flexible and sustainable technology resourcing model, including internal and external partnershipsDrive innovation and continuous improvement across technology systems, processes and operating modelsLead stakeholder engagement, consultation, negotiation and resolution of complex technology issuesSupport the ongoing development of cyber security capability and maturityAbout YouExtensive experience in a senior IT leadership or management role within a large and complex organisationBroad experience across multiple IT disciplines, including infrastructure, architecture, networking, server environments, service delivery and service operationsStrong contemporary leadership capability,
