Working in a busy but friendly environment the role would suit an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor or a Senior AP Officer who has high attention to detail, strong organisational skills and a passion for ongoing process improvement.About your new jobThe role will see you work closely with the Finance Manager to achieve team goals and manage the creditors ledger.
This is a hands-on role with tasks that will include the following:Lead and motivate a small team of Accounts Payable OfficersAssign responsibilities and tasks to ensure objectives are met on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.Train and mentor staff in department procedures and daily tasks, providing advice where requiredCommunicate with Suppliers on accounts payable enquiries and resolving in a timely mannerOverseeing controls and month-end reportingEnsure compliance with applicable AP,



expense and internal approval policiesAct as an escalation point for internal and external queriesReview of Supplier Statement reconciliations and finalising payment runsInvolvement and participation in any active company projects focused on process and procedure improvementEnsuring Creditors ledger is in line with agreed vendor termsAd-hoc tasks as requiredAbout YouYou will be an Accounts Payable Supervisor / Team Leader or a Senior AP Officer ready to step up.
