You'll work closely with our HR Manager and leaders across the business, supporting everything from employee relations and industrial relations through to payroll, recruitment, performance management, onboarding and day-to-day HR operationsWe're looking for someone who is confident working independently, enjoys being close to the business and can provide practical HR support to managers and employees.What you'll be doingProviding practical HR advice and support to managers and employees across a broad range of people mattersSupporting employee relations and industrial relations matters, including performance, conduct, attendance, grievances and workplace concernsSupporting workplace investigations, disciplinary processes, performance improvement plans and formal HR meetingsProviding guidance on employment contracts, policies, modern awards,



the NES and Fair Work requirementsManaging end-to-end recruitment, including advertising, screening, interviews, reference checks, offers and contractsCoordinating onboarding, probation reviews, employee changes and offboardingPreparing employment contracts, variations, promotion letters and other HR correspondenceProcessing Australian payroll and ensuring payroll is completed accurately and on timeProcessing salary changes, allowances, deductions, leave, terminations, KPI/incentive payments and other payroll adjustmentsReviewing timesheets and payroll information and resolving discrepanciesMaintaining accurate employee information within our HRIS and payroll systemsSupporting performance reviews and employee development processesAssisting with HR policies, compliance, workers compensation and return-to-work mattersSupporting employee engagement, wellbeing and recognition initiativesContributing to HR projects and continuously looking for ways to improve our people processes and systemsAbout youYou'll be someone who enjoys the variety that comes with a generalist HR role and is comfortable moving between an employee relations matter, a payroll deadline, recruitment and everyday employee questions.Ideally, you will have:Previous experience as an HR Generalist,



HR Advisor or in a similar hands‐on HR roleExperience managing or supporting employee relations and performance mattersGood working knowledge of Australian employment legislation, the NES and modern awardsHands‐on Australian payroll processing experienceExperience across recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee lifecycle processesConfidence working with managers and providing practical HR adviceStrong attention to detail, particularly when working with payroll and employee dataStrong written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to manage confidential and sensitive matters appropriatelyGood judgement and an understanding of when a matter needs to be escalatedA proactive approach and the ability to manage competing prioritiesAustralian working rightsA qualification in Human Resources, Employment Relations, Business or a related field would be well regarded.Experience using Rippling HRIS and/or Rippling Payroll would be a big advantage.Why join us?
