This role focuses on delivering high-performance, reliable, and scalable software that enables precision space observation, tracking, and laser operations.
Working within a multidisciplinary engineering setting, the role contributes across the full software lifecycle, including development, integration, testing, and deployment, ensuring systems meet the demands of mission-critical observatory and space applications.
The position requires strong technical capability, adaptability to complex problem domains, and the ability to deliver robust solutions both independently and collaboratively within small, high-performing teams.Primary duties: Design, develop, integrate, and maintain high-performance software systems supporting space telescope and laser operations, ensuring reliable and efficient functionality through rigorous testing, system verification, and close collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain software systems supporting space telescope and laser operationsDeliver high-quality, reliable, and high-availability software solutions for mission-critical environmentsSupport system integration, verification, and validation within observatory and space systemsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams across software, hardware, optical, and systems engineeringImplement and enhance DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and system automationPerform troubleshooting, debugging,
