Sydney Place, Levels 22 & 23, 180 George Street, Sydney NSW ****Salary: $80,000 per annum + superannuationEmployment Type: Full-timeThe Breakthrough Office is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Accountant to join our Sydney team.The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the company's financial reporting, accounting, budgeting and compliance functions.Key Responsibilities::Prepare financial statements, management accounts and periodic financial reportsMaintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial recordsPrepare and review bank and balance sheet reconciliationsAssist with budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow reportingMonitor revenue, expenditure and overall financial performancePrepare and assist with BAS,



GST and other taxation-related reporting requirementsAnalyse financial information and provide reports and recommendations to managementReview accounting processes and assist with maintaining appropriate internal financial controlsEnsure financial records and reporting comply with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirementsLiaise with management, external accountants, auditors and other relevant stakeholders as requiredSkills and ExperienceBachelor degree or higher qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or a closely related fieldRelevant professional experience in an accounting role for minimum 2 years.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reportingExperience with financial statements, reconciliations, budgeting and management reportingStrong numerical and analytical skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyGood organisational and time-management skillsCompetency with accounting software and Microsoft ExcelStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a skilled teamApplications will remain open for a minimum of 28 days from the date of publication.
