Dementia Education Facilitator (Fixed Term to End of November) - RockhamptonCatholicCare Central Queensland – Rockhampton QLDFixed-term full time opportunity through to the end of November ****Competitive salary + generous salary packaging to increase your take-home paySupportive work environment, ongoing training and development, and a range of employee benefitsAbout the RoleAs a Dementia Education Facilitator, you will play a key role in building the capability of carers, staff, and community members to support people living with dementia.You will design and deliver high-quality, evidence-informed education that strengthens knowledge, confidence, and resilience in dementia care.Key responsibilities include:Designing and delivering group and individual education using adult learning principlesTailoring education to meet the needs of carers, staff, volunteers, and community membersApplying inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally safe practicesCollaborating with internal teams and external stakeholdersMonitoring and evaluating program effectiveness and driving continuous improvementUsing digital tools and platforms to support education delivery and evaluationWhat We're Looking ForMinimum 3 years' experience in education, training, facilitation, or health promotion within health, aged care,



or community servicesCHCAGE011 – Provide Support to People Living with Dementia (or willingness to obtain)Current Queensland C Class Driver's LicenceCertificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE*****)Certificate or Diploma in Community Services, Health, Education, or a related fieldYou will also demonstrate:Experience designing and delivering education for diverse audiences using best-practice adult learning methodsStrong understanding of dementia, carer needs, and community-based care approachesA genuine passion for dementia care and commitment to ongoing learningAbility to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholdersSkills in evaluating programs and applying continuous improvementHigh ethical standards, integrity, and confidentialityConfidence using digital platforms to deliver and evaluate educationWhy Join CatholicCare Central Queensland?
