As an Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing accounts and managing financial information, as well as assisting in the management of the finance functions to support the Project as directed by the Senior Accountant & Accounting Manager.Duties & Responsibilities:Accounts Receivable functions and reportingAssist the Accounts Payable function and authorisationsAssist in the preparation of accurate and timely monthly financial accountsAssist in the performance of variance analysis on budget-to-actual reporting/GL and ProjectsReconciliation of general ledger accountsFixed Asset managementAssist in the refinement of management information systems and integrate/improve reporting frameworksAssist in the improvement of internal controls and proceduresMonitoring of record-keeping and compliance requirementsAssist in the liaison with external auditors where necessaryProvide financial support to internal stakeholdersJob costing analysisAssist in general accounting functions Assist in maintaining internal audit and controlsCriteria :Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role preferably within the construction industryBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or similarExperience using SAP or other ERP systemsStrong organisational and multitasking skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHigh level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook)Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentHigh attention to detail and commitment to accuracyWhat's Next?
