The Restaurant & Events Manager is responsible for the day-to-day running of The Hall, overseeing Pan-Asian restaurant service, events, team performance and venue standards.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, knows what good hospitality looks like and can confidently move between running a busy restaurant service, managing an event and thinking about how to grow the venue.
You'll work closely with the Operations, Sales and Marketing teams to grow restaurant and events trade, improve the guest experience and make the most of what The Hall has to offer.Key responsibilitiesTake ownership of the day-to-day operation of The Hall, ensuring consistently high standards across Pan-Asian food, beverage and serviceLead restaurant services and ensure the team is organised, supported and set up for successWork closely with the kitchen team to ensure food and service run seamlessly togetherMaintain a strong understanding of the menu, food offering and guest experienceMonitor service standards and guest feedback, addressing issues quickly and professionallyManage staffing levels,



rosters and labour in line with trade and budgetsKeep the venue looking sharp, well presented and ready for serviceTake ownership of the operational delivery of events at The Hall, from initial planning through to bump-outWork closely with the Sales team and event clients to understand requirements and ensure expectations are metCoordinate staffing, suppliers, floor plans, run sheets and other event logisticsAbout you3–5+ years' experience in restaurant, venue or events managementStrong experience running busy restaurant services and eventsA genuine interest in Pan-Asian food and contemporary restaurant cultureThe confidence to lead a team and make decisions on the floorExcellent communication skills and the ability to build solid relationships with staff, suppliers and clientsA calm, practical approach when things get busy or don't go to planStrong organisational skills and an eye for detailCommercial awareness and an understanding of labour, COGS and venue performanceA genuine interest in creating great food, drinks and guest experiences
