APG Workforce is seeking an experienced Cleaner to join a leading seafood processing facility in Morningside, QLD.
This is a great opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking forstable Monday-to-Friday day shift workin a busy food processing workplace.
You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation throughout the seafood processing facility.
The role also involves regular manual handling and moving machine parts and equipment weighing 15 kg or more, so applicants must be comfortable and physically capable of safely performing these duties.
Duties Include:
Cleaning seafood processing and production areas
Cleaning and sanitising machinery, equipment, floors, walls and workstations
Moving and handling machine parts and equipment as required
Regular manual handling of items weighing 15 kg+
Assisting with seafood processing and general production activities
Packing seafood products in a wet and cold processing environment
Following strict food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements
Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment at all times
What we're looking for:
Previous cleaning experiencein afood manufacturing, seafood processing or industrial environment
Strong understanding of hygiene and sanitation practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced processing environment
Comfortable working in a cold environment (approximately 5-10°C)
Good attention to detail
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
Ability to follow workplace procedures and safety requirements
Reliable transport
Availability to workMonday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
