The Intake and Assessment Officer is the first point of contact for complainants initial discussion regarding their complaints.
The primary purpose of the role is to receive and undertake initial assessments of complaints, identify out of jurisdiction complaints, refer matters to other appropriate complaint handling bodies, and refer appropriate matters for further assessment or investigation within OSA.
The role is also responsible for undertaking project work and administrative support.
Special Conditions

Ombudsman SA is an independent body that investigates complaints regarding South Australian government and local government agencies, conducts audits of these agencies, reviews freedom of information determinations of these agencies,



supports the implementation of the Information Sharing Guidelines across government, and receives information about state and local government activities confidentially from whistleblowers.
