The Instructional Specialist position will operate across the West Coast schools, with an allocation of 0.4 FTE at Rosebery District School and a further 0.3 FTE supporting schools across the West Coast.
This role supports schools to improve student outcomes in reading and, where possible, numeracy by helping teachers implement evidence-based teaching practices and the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS).
The position provides coaching, professional learning, and data-driven support to strengthen classroom instruction, interventions, and consistent teaching practices across the school while ensuring compliance with departmental policies and child safety requirements.

We are looking for
Essential
Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) with a registration Status – Employment
A registered teacher with full registration within the meaning of the Teachers Registration Act ****.
Desirable




Four years or more training as defined in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award ****.
