About the Role
This is acasual / Part-time position with the opportunity to transition to a permanent rolefor the right candidate.
The position offers flexibility while providing essential nursing support within our established and growing general practice.

Key Responsibilities
As a Practice Nurse, you will play an integral role in supporting our doctors and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Conduct and assist withChronic Disease Management and Care Planning, including patient follow-up and ongoing care coordination.
Conduct comprehensivePatient Health Assessmentsand support preventive healthcare initiatives.
Assist GPs withiron infusions, including patient preparation, monitoring and post-procedure care.




Administeradult and paediatric immunisations and vaccinationsin accordance with clinical guidelines and practice protocols.
Administertravel vaccinationsand provide appropriate patient education.
Providewound assessment, management and dressing changes, including ongoing care and follow-up.
Conduct and assist withear irrigation and other treatment room proceduresas required.
Assist GPs withminor surgical procedures, including preparation, patient support and post-procedure care.
Maintain high standards ofinfection prevention and control, including treatment-room preparation and clinical hygiene.
Undertakepatient triage, recalls and reminder management to support timely and appropriate patient care.
Manageclinical stock ordering and inventory control, ensuring adequate supplies are maintained efficiently.
Participate inQuality Improvement activitiesand contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical services and patient care.
Providegeneral clinical and nursing supportto GPs and the broader medical and administrative team as required.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking adedicated, reliable and patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN)who meets the following requirements:
Current unrestrictedAHPRA registrationas a Registered Nurse (RN).
ValidAustralian citizenship, permanent residency or appropriate working rights/visa.
CurrentCPR and Basic Life Support (BLS)certification.
Evidence of appropriateimmunisationincluding COVID-19,
Minimum 1 year of experience in general practice or a similar healthcare setting
Strongclinical knowledge and nursing skills, with demonstrated competency in patient assessment and clinical interventions.
Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
Strongorganisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy GP environment.
Flexibility and willingness to workcasual / parttime rostered shifts, with the potential to transition to apermanent positionfor the right candidate.
